Rhein-Galerie

The Rhein-Galerie lies directly on the left bank of the Rhine and is the largest shopping centre in the city. Across roughly 30,000 square metres of retail space, more than 130 shops, restaurants and service providers are spread over two levels. The south-facing promenade and the restaurant terraces offer a wide view across the river over to the centre of Mannheim. Since opening in 2010, the centre has brought the city core closer to the river again and is regarded as one of the drivers behind the revival of the Rhine promenade.
