Rhein-Galerie kicks off its summer programme right on the Rhine waterfront
With extended opening hours, special offers and events, the Rhein-Galerie shopping centre invites visitors out onto the waterside promenade.
The Rhein-Galerie at the Zollhof harbour is Ludwigshafen's largest shopping centre and sits directly on the Rhine promenade with a view across to Mannheim. For summer 2026 the centre launches a programme of extended opening hours, retailer promotions and events on the outdoor area by the water. The promenade in front of the gallery has become a popular meeting point, where cafés, dining and the view of the Rhine round out the shopping experience. The city sees the area as an important building block in bringing the inner city back towards the river.
